Reykjavik to Blue Lagoon via Grindavík | Iceland Scenic Drive 4K

Описание: This drive takes you from Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, to the Blue Lagoon.
The Blue Lagoon is an artificial hot spring created by waste hot water from a geothermal power plant nearby,
and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the nation.
On the way to Blue Lagoon, the vehicle stops by Seltún Geothermal Area,
Geldingadalir Parking P1 for trekking to Geldingadalir Volcano, and Grindavik.

Grindavik faced a direct threat from advancing lava flows caused by volcanic eruptions between 2023 and 2024.
These flows severed the main road to Keflavík and even neared the famous Blue Lagoon.
During our drive, the vehicle goes on a new bypass that was literally cut through the solidified lava.
