KERID CRATER, FRIDHEIMAR AND A HIDDEN GEM

Описание: Come with us as we start our road trip on part 1 of the golden circle. We decided to do half 1 day and the other half the following day.

We first drive from Reykjavik to Kerid Crater and wow was it windy, sorry for some of the audio but the wind was insane. The lake at the bottom of the crater was completely frozen over so it just looks like snow at the bottom, but there is water down there.

Our next stop is a little hidden gem, and if you ever go to Iceland it is definitely a stop you should make.

After the hidden gem we have lunch in a greenhouse ( Fridheimar ). All the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. There are a lot of bees flying around in the greenhouse, so if you are afraid of bees make sure to be seated someplace that does not have a lot of flowers nearby. We did not have any issues with them they were not aggressive and were just going about their business pollinating the flowers.

After lunch we visit with some Icelandic horses that are right in front of the restaurant.
