Battle of Ligny (June 16, 1815): Vandamme's corps formed the center-right of the French attack, advancing via Wagnelée to attack the Prussian positions at Saint-Amand. Despite stubborn Prussian resistance, the corps held key points, contributing to Blücher's defeat.

Battle of Wavre (June 18-19, 1815): Following the victory at Ligny, III Corps was placed under Marshal Grouchy's Right Wing to pursue the retreating Prussians. Vandamme was highly aggressive, urging Grouchy to march toward the sound of the guns at Waterloo, but was ordered to attack the Prussian III Corps under Thielmann at Wavre instead.

Retreat and Defence of Paris (June-July 1815): After learning of the defeat at Waterloo, Vandamme managed to retreat in good order. He subsequently participated in the defence of Paris, fighting against the Prussians at the Battle of Issy on July 2-3, 1815.
