July 5–6, 1809. Austria’s fourth war against Napoleon reaches its dramatic climax on the plains near Deutsch-Wagram.

In this episode, we refight the Battle of Wagram, the decisive engagement of Napoleon’s 1809 campaign, using the Bloody Big Battles rules. After the Austrian victory at Eckmühl in a previous game, the French are out for revenge — and this time, Napoleon is determined to finish the job.

Expect:
Massive corps-level maneuvering
Brutal cavalry clashes
Desperate counterattacks
The relentless advance of the French Imperial Guard
And more unlucky die rolls than any Austrian commander should have to endure

Join us in the basement to find out whether the Austrians can hold long enough to deny Napoleon his victory objectives. Or will the Emperor prove, once again, why he dominated Europe?
