Today we have a yummy yin yoga practice for beginners. When we do any other form of yoga, we hold the poses to stretch and lenghten our muscles. In yin yoga we give our body more time, to go even deeper, past the muscles all the way to connective tissue such as ligaments, tendons and fascia.
We will be holding each pose for 2 minutes today. Listen to your body and find your own position. It is not about how the pose looks, but how it feels.
Come to stillness on your mat and let's begin.
