🔥🦐Ghee Roast Prawns Recipe
Ingredients
Prawns – 500 g (cleaned & deveined)
Ghee – 7–8 tbsp
Curry leaves – 5/7 sprig
Garlic – 4/5 whole
Ginger – 3/4 cuts
Cuts onion 30gm
Tamarind – 5/6 picese
Green chilli - 3\4 picese
Whole coriander seed 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1tbsp
Mustard seeds 1/2tbsp
Kashmir chilies - 5/7 picese
Methi seeds 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
Black paper whole 1/2tbsp
Salt – to teast
Method
Roast & grind masala
Dry roast all masala ingredients on low flame till aromatic. Cool and grind to a smooth paste with little water.
Cook prawns
Heat ghee in a pan. Add curry leaves,
Add ground masala and cook on low flame till ghee starts separating (very important step).
Add prawns prawns, salt, tpinch of Mix well.
Roast
Cook on medium flame for 2/4 minutes, stirring gently. Prawns cook fast—don’t overcook.
Finish
