Almond Rice Phirni with Strawberry Sorbet 🍓🥣A royal, creamy dessert PhirniIngredients
Basmati rice 2 cup (soaked 45 min)
milk – 1 and half liter
Cooking cream 1 cup
Almonds (soaked & peeled) – 35/40
Sugar – 1 cup (to taste)
Cardamom whole – 4/5
Ghee 1/2 cup
Rose water / kewra (optional) – a few dropsChopped almonds & pistachios – for garnishMethodGrind soaked rice with almonds to a coarse paste.Boil milk, then lower flame. Add the paste, stirring continuously.Cook till thick and creamy (5/10min).Add sugar, cardamom, and rose/kewra. Cool completely.Chill 2–3 hours for best texture.
🍓 Strawberry SorbetIngredientsFresh strawberries – 2 cupsSugar – 1 cupLemon / lime Indian – 1 Honey –3/4 tbspMethodBlend smooth, add lemon juice, strain if needed.Freeze, stirring every 1 hour times) until scoopable.🍨 Plating Idea (Chef Touch)Pour chilled phirni into a glass or dessert cup.Add one perfect scoop of strawberry sorbet on top.Garnish with slivered almonds, pistachio dust, and a mint leaf
