Check your form: Increase your mobility, then learn how to use it

It doesn’t matter how much awesome mobility work you do if you then go and run like an giraffe in snow boots.
It doesn’t matter how much you stretch your lower back and hamstrings if you then go and deadlift with a question mark for a spine position.
How you move is just as important as the stretches or drills that you use to warm up or keep mobile.
Just because you're roughly moving in the right direciton, or vaguley getting sore in the right place, doesn't necessarily mean you're moving right. Most commonly you'll see imbalances from left to right, for example, people doing box step ups with straight hips on one side, but needing to open up and rotate the hips to lift the foot on the other side.
This might not seem like a big deal - I mean, you still get the step up part? You stilll feel the burn in your quads? But overtime this could lead to tightness, back pain, knee pain and all sorts of injuries.
You need to apply everything you do in your mobility/prehab work into your training, or you'll always get stuck in the same dysfunctional patterns and cycles.
