I’ve been wanting to increase my pull-ups for a long time, and I finally found a method that works. First, you figure out your max pull-ups in a row. Wherever you stop, that’s your number — and you do 10 sets of it, with as much rest as you need.
For me, I broke at 6 pull-ups, so on Day 1 I did 10 sets of 6 Pullups. On Day 2, I managed 10 sets of 7.
This routine can be applied at any level. The best way to do it is 2 days in a row, or 2 pull-up sessions back-to-back. The more consistent you are, the better it gets.
