NZ's Only Castle + Sea Lions at Sandfly Bay | DUNEDIN (Otago Peninsula)

Описание: Dunedin is a city rich in heritage but also renowned for its dramatic landscapes and wildlife too. This is the first of two vlogs we shot during our time in Dunedin (and the second to last from our 7 part South Island series).

For our first stop, we had to visit New Zealand's only castle - Larnach Castle. It's located on the long, hilly Otago Peninsula and it's a popular must see attraction when in Dunedin.

Next stop was Sandfly Bay which was only a short roughly 5 min drive away. The track to the beach begins from the carpark and then a walk through the farmland before descending down through the sand dunes. Be sure to keep your distance from the wild life there as it's their home and nesting grounds plus some can be dangerous too.

For our early dinner, we ate at Tang Noodle back in the city. Authentic, delicious Chinese food and friendly owners. It was a great spot to warm up and fill our bellies!

Our accommodation was pretty much in the heart of Dunedin. A great little guest suite which was wonderfully comfortable, warm and homely. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was a home away from home for a few nights.
