Stunning Queenstown to Glenorchy, New Zealand

Описание: Glenorchy is only about 45 minutes from Queenstown and both of these places in the South Island of New Zealand are absolutely stunning. This is vlog 1 of our latest 7 part South Island, NZ road trip series.

The first scenic stop was Bennetts Bluff Lookout which is along the drive between Queenstown to Glenorchy.

The Glenorchy Scenic Lagoon walkway is best done on a sunny day. We took the southern circuit loop. You'll find the start of the walk towards the right hand end when facing the Glenorchy red boat shed.

Our Airbnb accommodation in Queenstown was located about halfway between Frankton and Queenstown City Centre. A clean, comfy, private stay for the two of us right opposite Lake Wakatipu with beautiful mountain views.

For dinner we ate at a Korean restaurant in Queenstown called I Love Kimchi. A nice cosy setting. We really enjoyed their hot stone bowl beef bibimbap.
