Today I am sharing how to make the easiest, most delicious, pillowy soft buns at home. These butter buns remind me so much of bun kababs or Anda Shami from back home. Do try them out and let me know how they turn out for you ^_^
Ingredients: makes 4-6 buns
1 packet (8gm) Instant Dry Yeast
2 tbsp Sugar
1/2 cup Luke Warm Milk
3 tbsp Unsalted Softened Butter*
1 Egg
1 tsp Salt
2.5 cup (400gm) AP Flour
1-4 tbsp Luke Warm Water - I used 3 tbsp
1-2 tsp Oil for greasing the bowl
2 tbsp Milk + 1/2 tsp sugar to glaze the buns
Sesame Seeds - As Required
Can be replaced with Oil. In that case, pour in after the egg rather than working it in the dough. In case you use oil, you might need less or even no water at all.
Bake at 425F for 10-12mins
