Welcome to Day 5 of my 31-Day Yoga Challenge ✨ This 20-minute Yin Yoga class is a slow, deeply nourishing practice focused on releasing tension in the hips and inner thighs. Through long-held, passive stretches such as Dragon Pose, Deep Squat (Malasana), Frog, Pancake, and Butterfly, we target the deeper layers of connective tissue, helping to improve mobility and flexibility over time.
This practice is ideal to combat tightness in the hips from sitting, running, or strong yang-style workouts. Expect to cultivate stillness, patience, and mindful breathing, while calming the nervous system and creating space in areas that often store physical and emotional tension. Props are highly recommended to support the body and allow true relaxation. I use two blocks today.
Perfect as a standalone class or as part of the challenge, this session invites you to slow down, soften, and reset.
All bodies and all levels are welcome. Move at your own pace and let your breath guide you.
