On this episode I continue with the ongoing restoration of this 1979 Kenworth W900A truck to turn it into a tribute movie truck to the one used in the 1977 classic movie Smokey and the Bandit with Burt Reynolds, Jerry Reed and Jackie Gleason. If you haven’t seen it yet, what are you waiting for??? “It’s only 900 miles there and 900 miles back … well that ain’t never been done … not in no rig”

So the TwinStick Garage fans are the greatest … thanks to Daniel @the_reverand on Instagram, I now have movie correct hood lights that were seen on early 70’s Kenworths. The only problem is, I need to fill back in the hole I cut last year to install the support rings for the lights I purchased locally. In the end it wasn’t too big a deal as fiberglass is very forgiving, just lots of resin and sanding.
