Traveling in China | Xishuangbanna part III: The Splendid Night Market

Описание: This is my favorite place in Xishuangbanna, and one of my favorite places in all China.
It’s the Gaozhuang night market which is right next to the Dajing pagoda.
Located on the east bank of the Mekong River, Gaozhuang is a big and interesting night market. It’s quite similar to some of the night markets in Bangkok, Thailand. You will find a lot of food and handmade items from local minorities.
One of the things that makes this market very interesting is the Big Golden Pagoda.
We stayed in Xishuangbanna for 5 days and we went to this market twice, to be able to walk through all the streets, to try and sometimes to repeat the food, to enjoy the beauty of the lights, the people and the awesome vibe you can find in this place!
