A craftsman, largely self-taught and great traveler, Thomas Granier founded the Nubian Vault Association in 2000. He was awarded Social Entrepreneur of the Year by the Schwab Foundation in 2012 and Knight of the National Order of Merit in 2014 This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
