Canoeing to Bardsey Island/Ynys Enlli

Описание: Canoeing on the sea: A trip to Ynys Enlli / Bardsey Island We hit it in easy conditions, taking advantage of a neap tide and a low wind forecast. Don't underestimate this place. I have been there on a spring tide, in a sea kayak and it becomes awesome. A total of 29km (18 miles) travelled.

I was paddling with the amazing Luke McNair: he makes all his own paddles, has in the past built his own canoe and plays the violin (not all at the same time).

Loads of information on Ynys Enlli/Bardsey on the Trust's website. You can even rent a cottage on the island! Fantastic for birds with 20,000 Manx Shearwaters nesting there and even a the possibility that Puffins are coming back to the island. Of course Atlantic Grey Seals, some 200 of them. https://www.bardsey.org
