How to calculate color purity of a lminescence spectrum

Welcome ladies and gentlemen to this quick demo on how to calculate color purity from a luminescence spectrum by using sci-sim online app.
All you have to do is, go to the online app through the following link. https://sciapps.sci-sim.com/color_pur....
Upload your file by clicking on the choose file button at the top left side.
You can remove linear background if needed by double clicking on the R background button on the top right side.
Click on the dominant wavelength field to activate it, hover your mouth over the spectrum to select the dominant wavelength, and double click to add the dominant wavelength in the selected field.
Choose the standard illuminant of white light you prefer; you can choose from a wide range of standard illuminants of white light according to CIE 1931 standard.
Then click calculate. The x and y color coordinates of the whole spectrum and of the dominant wavelength will be calculated and shown here.
The color purity will also be calculated and shown here.
