PTSD and Narcissistic Abuse: A One-Two Punch to Your Soul

Описание: Often, as a result of narcissistic abuse in a toxic relationship, you're left with a whole host of issues - one of which is often complex traumatic stress disorder, or C-PTSD.

When you're in or have recently left a relationship with a narcissist, there are many negative side effects you've got to deal with as a result of the gaslighting and manipulation that goes along with it - and one of the most common issues for survivors and victims of narcissistic abuse in relationships is PTSD and C-PTSD.

In this video, I'll cover PTSD and C-PTSD in detail, starting with how you can identify PTSD in yourself (or someone you love), what you can do to treat PTSD and when it's too serious to handle alone.

If you're experiencing PTSD, you have likely had a "fight or flight" response to a traumatic experience. This is a normal reaction to impending danger, AND it is ingrained in our psyche to prevent us from harm, but in PTSD, that natural response may deeply change you - just like a narcissistic abuse situation will.

Even though you may already be out of danger and no longer need to be afraid, you might react to non-threatening experiences and events with a "fight or flight" response.

You might also experience symptoms of depression, dissociation and anxiety, among other things, and various triggers could cause you to have increased levels of pain and suffering in the process.
