White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has slammed CNN as a “total disgrace” for ignoring an event honouring Americans killed by illegal immigrants.
On Monday, US President Donald Trump hosted the families of Americans killed by illegal immigrants in the East Room of the White House.
President Trump opened up the Angel Families Remembrance Ceremony before parents of murdered Americans spoke.
CNN completely ignored Phillips’ speech and those by other parents; the only reference the network gave to the ceremony was by reporter Kirsten Holmes.
The press secretary responded to the left-leaning network’s failure to cover the ceremony and labelled CNN a “disgrace”.
