Hence, today I will be sharing a recipe of how to make oil Free or zero oil paneer gravy. You can use the same method to make gravy for any other Sabzi.
Ingredients to make healthy oil Free paneer (cottage cheese gravy) :-
PANEER (150G), 1 TSP CUMIN SEEDS, 2 SMALL ONIONS, 1TSP CHOPPED GARLIC, 2 Tomatoes, SALT TO TASTE, WATER AS REQUIRED, 1 TSP CORIANDER Powder, CHILLI TO TASTE, 1/2 TSP Turmeric POWDER, 1 TSP KASURI METHI, 1/2 CUP COCONUT MILK
Method to make zero oil shahi paneer/ paneer gravy:-
IN A SMALL BOWL ADD WATER & KEEP ASIDE (close to your cooking station)
IN A NONSTICK PAN ADD 1 TSP CUMIN SEEDS, WHEN CUMIN SEEDS STARTS TO TURN DARK BROWN ADD CHOPPED GARLIC
ADD CHOPPED ONIONS TO THE PAN, IF ONIONS STARTS STICKING TO THE PAN ADD 2-3 TBSP WATER & ADJUST HEAT ACCORDINGLY (REPEAT THE SAME AGAIN IF NEEDED)
WHEN ONIONS ARE NICELY Cooked ADD CHOPPED TOMATOES
Add SALT TO TASTE & OTHER SPICES MIX EVERYTHING WELL
ADD MORE WATER TO HELP Everything COME Together
ONCE COOL, TRANSFER THE MIXTURE INTO A GRINDER & MAKE A PUREE
IN THE SAME PAN START AGAIN BY ADDING SOME WATER, ADD PUREE AND MIX WELL
ADD chopped CUBES OF PANEER INTO THE PAN
COVER THE PAN AND COOK FOR FEW Minutes, ADD 1/2 CUP COCONUT MILK (SKIMMED MILK)
SPRINKLE SOME DRIED KASURI METHI ON TOP, your oil Free paneer gravy is ready to serve.
USE THE SAME METHOD TO SAUTEE VEGETABLES, or to make gravy for any vegetables.
