I should have known that my newly laid turf was going to be irresistible to the Babybelle's cubs! They could not believe that suddenly the earth moved under their paws and they had new-found magic powers to shift and shred the once solid lawn. I can't blame them for turning the soft and bouncy new turf into their playground. Little do they know that it cost me a small fortune to get done. But ultimately I laid it for them as much as for myself. having to replace some small sections of shredded turf is a small price to pay for the fun they continue to have playing every night into the small hours in my garden.
