Mary suffered a thoracic spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed from the waist down. She was referred to Dr. Andrea Toomer at Culicchia Neurological Clinic for help managing her spasticity. She was having severe muscle spasms that were painful. Her legs were extremely tight due to increased muscle tone. Dr. Toomer recommended implantation of a Baclofen pump. Mary describes the strides she has made since she has received the pump.
