The discussion will explore the evolving landscape of environmental law and policy in the United States and what to expect during Trump’s second term. In light of recent political and judicial shifts, including environmental rollbacks and the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Chevron deference, our speakers will unpack what these developments mean for environmental protections and climate action going forward.

Trump-appointed judges consistently rule for polluters, which is in line with the broader custom of Trump judges constantly aligning with the wealthy and powerful at the cost of America’s communities and individuals. These same judges are consistently undermining the Environmental Protection Agency’s ability to ensure people have access to clean air and water. This conversation will provide a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing environmental justice in a rapidly changing legal landscape.
