Phase 4 of the Pasig River Esplanade has opened last October 19, 2025. This new extension from Manila Post Office to Arroceros Forest Park is 530 meter long. The new length of the Esplanade from Fort Santiago to Arroceros Forest Park is now 1,880 meters or 1.88 kilometers.
We recently visited the Esplanade to check this latest addition. Phase 4 starts from the back of the Manila Post Office, passes two historic bridges (MacArthur and Quezon), and Plaza Lawton before reaching Arroceros Forest Park. It is now possible to walk from LRT Central Station through Arroceros Park to Fort Santiago via Esplanade, to Binondo (via Intramuros-Binondo Bridge), Avenida (vis MacArthur Bridge) and Quiapo (via Quezon Bridge), and access to Pasig River Free Ferry Service via Lawton Station.
There are now food stalls in front of Arroceros Park for those looking for meals and refreshments after walking through the Esplanade.
The Esplanade, as well as Arroceros Forest Park, is open daily from 10AM to 12AM.
