Quezon, Palawan is a hidden gem waiting to be experienced.
It is the home of the Tabon Caves, a cave system located in Lipuun Point, Panitian, Quezon. Dubbed as the country's "cradle of civilization", it is a site of archaeological importance due to the number of jar burials and prehistoric human remains found starting from the 1960s, most notably the Tabon Man. The system is a part of the Lipuun Point Reservation, which has been protected by the Philippine government as a museum reservation to protect the caves and its immediate vicinity from deforestation and to preserve the cultural artifacts present there.
Join us as we visit the actual site where the Tabon Man was found. We also got to learn from the staff of the National Museum the important details of these caves and also got the chance to explore the new National Museum branch inside the complex.
Aside from the Tabon Caves, Quezon also has many attractions such as waterfalls and remote islands which we also got to explore during this visit which was arranged by the Tourism Promotions Board and the Quezon Palawan Tourism Office.
