So I put it to a vote to determine the spirit that I was going to use for this weeks #thirstythursday, and you all let me know that you wanted a #tequila #cocktail, so that is what we are getting! Now, this is not a #cbasswithdill original, but man is is amazing! This one was created by Phil Ward from Death & Company in #NYC. It uses blanco style tequila, you can use whatever one you like best. Its got fresh mint and cucumber, along with lime, and simple syrup, and a unique liqueur called Yellow Chartreuse.
All of the notes in this cocktail give it a light and very refreshing taste that will be great for spring and or summer. Here is the exact measurements that you will need to recreate this on your own:
Bar Cart:
2 oz Blanco/Silver style tequila
.75 oz Yellow Chartreuse
.75 oz fresh lime juice
.5 oz simple syrup
2 thinly sliced cucumbers
5-7 fresh mint leaves
