Banded Pull-Aparts
Why do it?
Strengthens the upper back and shoulders for dancing and hugging grandkids.
How to:
• Hold the band in front of you at chest height, hands shoulder-width apart
• Stand tall with your neck and upper back straight
• Pull the band apart using your shoulders and upper back (elbows can bend slightly)
• Squeeze your shoulder blades together, pause, then return slowly to the start
Tip: Keep your head and body still as your arms move
