Today, it is not a fancy meal but just showcasing the right technique to cook Dal and Soya matar and how you can make a balanced meals with these Indian meals.

Green Moong Dal
Ingredients
1/2 cup Green Moong Dal
4 Cups Water
1 tsp desi ghee
1 tsp cumin seeds
3 garlic pods finely chopped
1 tbsp ginger finely chopped
1 cup finely chopped onions
1 cup finely chopped tomatoes
1 tsp coriander powder
1/3 tsp turmeric powder
Salt as taste
Fresh cilantro leaves
Soya Matar
Ingredients
50 gm Mini Soya Chunks
80 gm Frozen Peas
1 tsp cooking oil
1 tsp ginger finely chopped
1 green chilli finely chopped
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder
1/3 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp amachur powder
1/3 tsp Garam Masala
Fresh cilantro
Salad
Ingredients
Handful of Spring Mix
Carrots
Cucumber
Onions (1/2 cup water + 2 tbsp Vinegar + pinch of salt + onions - Keep it for 20 min)
Lime juice
Freshly grounded black peppercorns
