Hi Everyone,
Vegetarians always lack in fulfilling their protein requirements. So, I am starting high protein vegetarian meal plans recipe videos in which I will share three meals, breakfast , lunch and dinner with their proper nutrition value.
Let's begin with episode - 1
Breakfast : Chocolate Oatmeal
Cal : 425 | Protein : 39 G
Ingredients:
1 Cup Water
1/2 cup (40 g) Powdered Oats (To make powdered oats, just blend the oats until smooth. )
1 tsp chia seeds
3/4 cup (150 ml) milk
1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 scoop vanilla protein (I am using Dymatize brand - Not sponsered. If you have chocolate protein powder, you can avoid using cocoa powder)
For Garnishing:
7-8 Thin Banana slices
1 tsp almond or any nut butter
3 almonds roughly sliced
4 dark choco nibs & dry cranberries
1 tsp hemp seeds/flax powder
You can use fruit and nuts of your choice for garnishing
Lunch : Quinoa Beans Salad
Cal : 525 | Protein : 26 G
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Dry Quinoa (We will use half of the boiled quinoa for this recipe. Rest you can store in refrigerator for upto a week.)
1.5 Cup water (to boil quinoa)
100 gm Kidney Beans/Rajma
40 gm Indian cottage Cheese/Paneer
1/3 Cup Onions finely chopped
5 cherry tomatoes halves
2 tbsp steamed carrots
1/3 cup cucumbers finely chopped
Handful (30 G approx) roughly chopped baby spinch or lettuce or spring mix
For Dressing:
2 tsp olive oil
1 tbsp lime juice
Salt as taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
Follow the directions in the video and make this delicious an healthy salad for your lunch.
Dinner : Soya Bhurji + Roti & Black Chana Chaat
Cal : 452 | Protein : 32 G
Soya Bhurji
Ingredients:
1 cup water (to boil soya granules)
30 Gm Soya Granules
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp grated ginger
1 small onion finely chopped
40 G frozen peas
1 medium tomato finely chopped
Spices : 1/2 tsp red chilli powder + 1/2 tsp coriander powder + 1/3 tsp turmeric powder + salt as taste
Chana chaat
Ingredients:
100 gm Boiled Black Chana
2 tbsp onions finely chopped
2 tbsp cucumbers finely chopped
1 small tomato finely chopped
2 tbsp carrots finely chopped
1/2 lemon juice
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
salt as taste
1 tsp chaat masala
