This might just be my new favourite country in Asia! Welcome to Laos, the only landlocked country in South East Asia, it has around 160 ethnic groups and is a Buddhist country. I arrived into Luang Prabang which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and used to be the country's capital. This country remains as the most bombed country in the world because the US bombed them to disrupt supply routes in the Vietnam war. Dropping over two million tons of bombs, equivalent to a plane-load every eight minutes for nine years, leaving millions of unexploded ordnance (UXO) that still affects people today.
