I decided to take a detour to reach a forest temple, instead, I found an abandoned village with some strange vibes but some of the best nature I have ever seen in my life! This is, for sure the deepest Ride into rural Laos, I hardly saw any other people, let alone foreigners!
The Thakhek Loop has without doubt been one of my favourite experiences ever, incredible nature, the freedom of the open road and wonderful people along the whole way, if you are in Laos, I urge you to try this Loop, its an unforgettable experience and these videos help keep my memories fresh :)
