HOW I RAN AN EPIC 24 MINUTE PERSONAL BEST // Manchester Marathon 2023

Описание: Manchester Marathon Race Day is here. I had so much fun running this race and just as much fun putting the video together. The crowds and support was fantastic. I’m still buzzing from the day!

It was great to meet some of you viewers and thank you for coming up to talk to me. One of you also had your 9 week old supporting you which was great to see and impressive you managed to run the race at all - congratulations again on both fronts!

And thankyou so my sister who came to support - you were amazing getting around the course and seeing you no less than 6 times!

After 14 weeks of training and a patient wait during a 3 week taper, it was time to see what I had in me. My previous marathon PB was 3 hours and 36 minutes at Brighton Marathon 2021 and today was always going to be a PB unless something catastrophic happened - fitness levels were on a different planet compared to 18 months ago. I was pretty sure 3:15 was getable and thought 3:10 would be a stretch goal and in the end it proved to be a couple of minutes too far. Nonetheless this is how I bagged myself an epic 24 minute PB.
