It's time to get ready for winter. Yes, my garage is a mess. Why? How can that be when I'm a declutter coach?!? What? Fair question. The thing is, you can have the most expensive custom built closets and shelves with the fanciest bins and labels but unless people are putting items back in their "home", it will get messy. My garage and basement are my two zones that I just don't care how they look. If my kids are happily playing, I let it go. Since I am a declutter coach, that means we don't have a lot of STUFF! That's the key. If you have less stuff, it takes you less time to put it away. That's the bottom line. So you can relax if things aren't perfect or let the mess pile up for the whole summer knowing it will only take a few minutes to tidy it all back up. Less stuff does indeed equal more life!
