For decades, the Wilderness Trek has been one of the Cleveland Zoo’s hot spots for seeing large animals. With a long history of displaying Wolves, Tigers, Pinnipeds, and an impressive collection of Bears. However, the exhibits displaying these animals have changed drastically in the last 10 years, with moated habitats that were once state of the art giving way to latest in zoo designs. While some of the older exhibits remain, the Trek is now mostly composed of four modern sub attractions: The Wolf Wilderness (1997), Roseborough Tiger Passage (2016), Asian Highlands (2018), and Bear Hollow (2023). All of which combine to form one of the most unique exhibits we’ll ever tour!
