Potter Park Zoo opened in 1920, making it one of the oldest zoos in Michigan. The zoo has a lot of interesting history packed into its 100+ years.. Over the course of this two-part tour, we’ll go over every animal exhibit in the zoo, meeting the individual animals and species that call the zoo home. Your visit starts with many North American native like Arctic Foxes, Bald Eagles, and Canada Lynx. We’ll also meet the zoo’s newest big addition, Elombe the Okapi, freshen up on the latest happening in the Feline & Primate Building, and even take a quick look around the Farmyard.
