Nirav Niranjan Shah, MD, Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI, briefly discusses the potential of dual-targeting CAR T-cell therapy in patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). He highlights that preliminary complete remission (CR) rates in a study (NCT04186520) investigating anti-CD20/anti-CD19 CAR T-cells (LV20.19) have been promising, and suggests that this dual-targeting approach may reduce the risk of antigen escape.
