The Prime Minister also congratulated President Mirziyoyev on being conferred Nishan-e-Pakistan, Pakistan’s highest civil award, for strengthening bilateral ties and advancing cooperation in trade, investment, and key economic sectors. Highlighting the deep historical, cultural, and spiritual bonds rooted in the ancient Silk Route, the Prime Minister said these ties form the foundation of an even stronger future.

Both leaders held the inaugural meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, marking a milestone in bilateral relations. The Prime Minister emphasized regional connectivity, describing the Uzbekistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan Railway Project as a transformative initiative for the region.

A protocol was signed to expand cooperation in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, textiles, leather, tourism, and IT, including the formation of a Joint Working Group and quarterly review meetings. The Prime Minister thanked Uzbekistan for gifting Babar Park, Tashkent Lane, and Ferghana Village, and appreciated President Mirziyoyev’s support for peace in Gaza, the two-state solution for Palestine, and the Kashmir cause.
