Märchen Adventure Cotton, originally on Super Famicom (SNES), played on Switch without dying, tool assistance and continue (one life clear). Very fun and for the genre easy game. It was surprising for me how much the Deathsmiles series of Cave (wich I played years before) is a very suitable successor to Cotton.
The Barrier magic is a very strong defensive technique. Together with the Fairie Shot, Cotton is a bit too strong for the game. Some bosses dont even have the time, to start some serious attacks.
