藝術(人工)冰瀑是指在冬季利用自然低溫，通過人工方式（如水管噴淋、繩索引流）製造出如同天然冰瀑般壯觀的冰掛景觀，主要用於旅游景區吸引游客。這種人為供水在樹木及岩石表面上在低温下形成的冰瀑雖然不是百份之百天然形成，但温度、風向、陽光及時間累積等天然因素亦不失為大自然的藝術傑作，非人力可以雕塑出如此奇形怪狀冰柱、冰簾、冰珊瑚等美景。

On my third and last day tour in Xuegu （Snow Valley) Shisheng Forest Farm, Wuchang City, I visited the Diaoyutai Resort in Changqing Forest Farm, about 10 kilometers away, mainly to admire its artistic icefalls. Upon arrival, following _the directions of the resort staff, I crossed the frozen river to the end of a stream path. Along the way, I saw several artistic icefalls. The crystal-clear ice curtains, ice stalactites, and frozen tree branches that looked like crystal corals resembled an underwater palace—magical and fantastical. Within half an hour of the sunlight entering the valley, they appeared snow-white, translucent, and sparkling.

Artistic (artificial) icefalls refer to the spectacular ice formations created in winter using natural low temperatures and artificial methods (such as water spraying and rope guiding) to resemble natural icefalls. They are mainly used in tourist areas to attract visitors. While these artificially created icefalls formed on the surfaces of trees and rocks at low temperatures are not entirely natural, the natural factors such as temperature, wind direction, sunlight and time accumulation make them masterpieces of nature. It is impossible for human hands to sculpt such bizarrely shaped ice pillars, ice curtains, and ice corals.
