These are the first two movements of Boëllmann's mighty "Suite Gothique", composed in 1895. Although these form two movements, the first leads naturally into the second, hence recording and releasing them together.
This was recorded on a Johannus Live III AGO organ, using the sample of the Cavaillé-Coll organ in Église Notre-Dame d'Auteuil, Paris. The sample sets can be heard from four positions: console, front of the church, centre of the church, rear of the church, allowing the most generous recording of the acoustic.
