🎥 C-Skips – Running ABC Drill for Runners
The C-Skip is the third part of the classic Running ABC series. It combines the vertical knee lift of A-Skips with the extension of B-Skips — teaching runners how to coordinate hip flexion, extension, and ground contact in one smooth, elastic motion.
This drill is all about rhythm, posture, and learning to recycle the legs efficiently — just like in real running.
✅ Trains hip flexion + extension together
✅ Improves running rhythm + coordination
✅ Reinforces posture + arm drive
✅ Builds hamstring + hip flexor strength dynamically
How to do it:
Start tall with good posture.
Drive one knee up like an A-Skip.
Extend the leg slightly forward, then pull it down quickly under the hips.
Land light on the ball of the foot, staying elastic.
Arms pump naturally, opposite the legs.
Perform 2–3 sets of 20–30 meters.
👉 Use C-Skips as part of your warm-up or technique drills to connect the mechanics of knee drive, extension, and foot strike into one fluid motion.
