Indiana Locations: Arcola, Bluffton, Fort Wayne, Hartford City, Hoagland, Monroeville, Muncie, New Castle, Oakville, Ossian, Waterloo, Williams, and Yoder.
Ohio Locations: Van Wert

Much of this footage is on the NS New Castle District. In late October, what started out initially as a detour off of the Fostoria District, NS began running 217 & 218 on the line. It reached the Pokey via the Peavine (Cincinnati District). The routing became semi-permanent for a few years until the Peavine route was closed. Also, NS began routing some of their high priority Missouri intermodals onto the CSX Fort Wayne Line east of Fort Wayne. This lasted a few years, as well. You'll hear the late John Marty on the radio. My footage notes are below. You can skip to different sections using the timestamp links.

24:55 Monroeville, IN - NS 20T (NS 9463, NS 9450), NS had started an experimental routing of this train along with 20A, 21A, and 21T over the CSX Fort Wayne Line (ex-PRR) east of Fort Wayne as a way to expedite their movement across Ohio and completely bypass the NYC route. This was the inaugural train. It was a treat to hear double-stacks over jointed rails.

01:19:22 Fort Wayne, IN - After I got off work, I went out in the afternoon and filmed some of the trains parked around town during the Christmas shutdown. It was about 8ºF when I filmed this. The next day, it was interesting how they unraveled the trains parked around Hadley.
