In June 1996 while daylight hours are the longest, Terry Lewis and friend headed out on a railfan trip . First stop was CSX at Sand Patch, then on to Mance and its Horseshoe Curve, next along Wills Creek on the East Slope , Hyndman and Cumberland. At Cumberland we visit the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad.
Next we move on to Conrail around the famous Horseshoe Curve, Altoona, Cassandra, Gallitzin Tunnels, Summerhill, Lily, and Johnstown where action was non-stop.
On our way back home we stopped by Berea Ohio when Conrail was still the only rail line through town. After that we stopped at Bellevue Ohio to check out the NS hump facility in action and finally on to Marion Ohio. where Conrail, CSX and NS all cross at the Marion Union Station.
This two hour and 40 minute program is packed full of Classic Railroad Action from 1996 with road names and trains no longer seen today. Coal trains, no graffiti, fantastic curves, locations and gorgeous videography by Terry Lewis.
Upconverted to HD, audio equalized, and tweaked. Video enhanced and color corrected scene by scene for an ultimate viewing and listening experience.
Videography by Terry Lewis, produced by Neff Video and Green Frog Productions. Approx: two hours and 40 minutes with full color, sound and narration.
