Nueva Ecija: Agro-Tourism Destination of the Philippines. NLEX LakbayNorte Tarlac-Nueva Ecija Part 2

Описание: Nueva Ecija, like Tarlac in Central Luzon, is often regarded by travelers as a province where you make a brief stop for meal and rest room breaks before continuing your journey to the tourist destinations of the north.
To prove that we travelers are wrong the province, Team NLEX Lakbay Norte partnered with Nueva Ecija Tourism Office and respective municipal tourism offices to bring a select group of media people and content creators to the many hidden attractions of the province which is now regarded as the "Agro-Tourism Destination of the Philippines", and to explore the province which is also regarded as the Rice Granary of the Philippines.
Tarlac can be accessed by driving north via world-class NLEX+SCTEX and then exiting from Tarlac City interchange and then continue drive through Central Luzon Expressway to reach the many cities and municipalities of Nueva Ecija.
Our first stop was in Talavera where we met its energetic 29-year old Mayor, Aries Vincent Patrick Gaboy Lim. We also got the chance to visit San Isidro Labrador Parish Church, the DVF Dairy Farm, Crystal Waves, and Erlinda's, a restaurant that serves delicious Filipino comfort foods.
This was followed by a drive to Pantabangan to Lake Farm de La Marre Agri-Tourism Farm where we enjoyed the Christmas displays and an overnight stay at their cabins overlooking Pantabangan Lake.
The next day, we enjoyed the encounter with Pre-Historic creatures at Georgepoint's Dino Park, before heading to Pantabangan Dam Complex.
Our next stops were in Philippine Carabao Center for an all-day breakfast of carabeef Tapa and Bulalo at Kardeli and shopping for carabao milk products at Milka Krem.
As our last stop, we drove to Rancho Antigua in Talavera to sample their famous Carabeef Sinigang in Mango.
Indeed, there are so much to see and do in Nueva Ecija, and we thank NLEX Lakbay Norte for taking us to experience the province's agro-tourism attractions.
