Описание: We join postdoc Dan Aurell in Korea as he investigates whether Tropilaelaps mites are spreading between colonies by hitching rides on departing bees. This study could provide critical insights into how these parasitic mites establish new infestations. Watch as Dan collects bees and analyzes their role in potential mite transmission. Our work in Korea was supported by Project Apis m., the Healthy Hives Initiative, USDA APHIS, and the North Dakota Department of Agriculture.
