• 1 cup hare chane (green chana)
• 1–2 tbsp oil
• 1 tsp jeera
• 1 pinch hing
• 1 onion (finely chopped)
• 1 tomato (finely chopped)
• 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste (optional)
• 1–2 green chilli (chopped)
• ½ tsp haldi
• 1 tsp red chilli powder
• 1 tsp coriander powder
• ½ tsp garam masala
• Salt as per taste
• 1 cup water
• Fresh coriander (for garnish)

Recipe (Hindi) – बनाना कैसे है
1. Kadhai me tel garam karein.
2. Jeera aur hing daal kar crackle hone dein.
3. Ab pyaaz daal kar halka golden hone tak bhunein.
4. Ginger-garlic paste aur hari mirch daal kar 1 minute bhunein.
5. Ab tomato daal kar soft hone tak pakaayein.
6. Masale daalein – haldi, mirchi, dhania powder, namak.
7. Ab hare chane daal kar acche se mix karein.
8. 1 cup pani daal kar 8–10 minute medium flame par pakne dein.
9. Jab sabji thick ho jaye, garam masala aur hara dhania daalein.
10. Garma-garam parathe ya roti ke saath serve karein.

Recipe (English) – How to Make
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Add cumin seeds and a pinch of hing. Let them splutter.
3. Add chopped onions and sauté until light golden.
4. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilli; cook for a minute.
5. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
6. Add spices – turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder, and salt.
7. Add green chana and mix well.
8. Pour 1 cup water and cook for 8–10 minutes on medium flame.
9. When the sabji thickens, add garam masala and coriander leaves.
10. Serve hot with roti, paratha, or rice.
