Day 3 (May 24th) - Arrive San Cristobal-Visit Isla Lobos

Описание: This is the third video in our series, "The Galápagos Islands: Science Trip of a Lifetime." We've finally arrived in the Galápagos on the island of San Cristóbal, made it through customs, and even filled out our forms on the floor.

We were then taken to the yacht Galaxy, our home for the next three weeks on the Pacific Ocean. We had lunch on board, our first of many three-course meals, and went to our cabins to sort out our luggage while the Galaxy sailed to our first excursion destination.

Isla Lobos was the Living Science students' first dry landing and their first opportunity to learn from our Galápagos Naturalist and guide, Jaime. From this point on, every stop becomes a teaching moment, with the science team taking pictures, taking notes, and being ready to learn.

After a busy first day in the Galápagos Islands, it was time for the science team to be just a team that enjoyed the water. What could be more fun than swimming in the Pacific Ocean with sea lions?
