This is the oldest and most ambitious tree on the channel thus far. I’ve been waiting a long time to get my hands on a California Juniper like this. For around 150 years, this tree’s been out in the wild facing all that nature could throw at it...
Today, it gets its first shot at becoming a bonsai.
For this video, I added text overlays to walk you through my process and give a little insight into HOW I make decisions along the way. Hopefully it makes the experience more engaging and lets you see the transformation through my eyes.
I'm not a master or an expert... but I'm hoping that by sharing my process, some of you will learn something and apply it to your own bonsai work.
