Another bonus video today, with yesterday's footage of LMS 46100 "Royal Scot" and 46115 "Scots Guardsman" hauling their respective railtours to Carlisle.
We begin with LMS 46100 "Royal Scot", which takes charge of Saphos Trains' "The Lakelander" railtour from Rugby to Carlisle. The locomotive is owned by The Royal Scot Locomotive and General Trust and operated by Locomotive Services Limited.
A short while later LMS 46115 "Scots Guardsman" passes through Penrith, in charge of the Railway Touring Company's "The Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express" railtour from London Euston to Carlisle. This locomotive is owned by David Smith and operated by West Coast Railways.
I then relocated to Wigton to see the return leg of "The Lakelander" via the Cumbrian Coast Line. It seems most of the residents of north Cumbria had the same idea!
